Horse Shows BannerAnother initiative by the Willow Ridge Riding Club… a series of three schooling shows held over the winter months in the Willow Ridge arena!

These shows will give riders new goals to work towards over the long winter months. The judge will be able to give feedback to the competitors about how they can improve their performance for next time, and for the show season.   These schooling shows aren’t for money, or for circuit points, but just for the benefit of the rider and their horse.  And don’t worry… everyone else’s horses will be fuzzballs too!

Everyone is welcome!!!  However there is a class size limit and once the classes are full, they are full, so register early! Questions? Contact: michael.yingbull@gmail.com (306) 652-5408 — email gets fastest response.

Volunteers welcomed!!!

We can always use more hands to help out with show setup, moving fences and poles, or just helping pick up poop from the arena between classes!

Remember the spirit of this schooling series is FUN and LEARNING and that goes for the helping parents and spouses and friends too, so even if you’ve never done it before, come on out and we’ll show you how it’s done!  THANK YOU TO ALL THE AWESOME VOLUNTEERS during the November show!  Everyone, from announcer, to runner, to concession, to “groundsmen”, and window-washers and pooper-scoopers… that’s what makes a show like this possible!

To volunteer, contact Michael or anyone in the riding club for more info, or check the bulletin boards around Willow Ridge.  Or just, step up and ask “can I help?” on the day of the show!!
